Lesson Overview: Students will use the influence of Navajo artwork to create a clay relief tile with a symmetrical/geometric pattern as a border.

Lesson Objectives: To explore the use of symmetry and geometric designs with the Artwork of the Navajo Tribe. To be able to identify a symmetrical design. To understand that line creates symmetrical or geometric designs. To use clay tools efficiently in order to create a clay tile relief.
