Lesson Overview: Students will create a tessellation using a complimentary color scheme which reflects the work of M.C. Escher.
Grade Level: Middle School or High School
Lesson Objectives: To understand the history behind color theory. To be able to explain the different color schemes and utilize them in their work. To explore the way different combinations of colors can create optical illusions. To assemble a tessellation using stencils and shapes.
